Introducing, the Market Lady
If you are from the Caribbean, the Market Lady is a character you're surely familiar with. She's the proud, hardworking matriarch who comes into the city market to sell her agricultural produce, far away from her country farm.
This limited edition series is a modern, re-imagined version of that concept, featuring the talented model, Nicole Morson. Nicole is wearing a flowing white dress cinched with an elegant madras waist band. She is adorned with other madras accessories, creating a fusion of tradition, grace, and style.
Trusted By These Brands
Choosing to invest in an piece of fine art is never an easy decision. You aren't just buying a print; you are buying into the artist's vision, his reputation and his body of work. Over the years Yuri A. Jones has been trusted by dozens of private art buyers, and he has also worked with several large brands, including those listed below:
About the series
The "Market Lady" series came from a concept that randomly occurred to me one day in February 2021. The idea arrived complete and fully realized.
I knew that I wanted to shoot the model in my new studio space. I also knew that I wanted to use scenes from the Roseau Market as a backdrop. And I knew exactly how I wanted the final images to look. However, I had no idea that it would take me two years to acquire the skills necessary to develop the images in a way that I could be satisfied and proud.
This was one of my first collaborations with the phenomenal model and creative mind, Nicole Morson. She was able to channel my vision, and fully embodied the character of the Market Lady through her attire and expressions.
The results are five individual photographs, each with distinct and intentional themes: Determined, Grateful, Merry, Stoic and Thoughtful.

About the Prints
Prints from the "Second Life" limited edition series are expertly printed on Epson Semi-Gloss Giclee paper. This paper was chosen because it is known to hold color saturation and high-contrast images well, which makes it perfectly suited to display this series.
You have a choice of black, white or oak colored FSC®-certified wood frames, in all except the largest print size, and they come with high quality glass windows.
Our expert framers ensure the perfect fit so that your print is ready to be hung on your wall.
A limited number of prints will be available for each image in the series. There will be absolutely no restocks. When sold out, this limited edition print is gone forever. This limit guarantees the rarity and value of your chosen artwork.
Your print will be shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity which lists important information such as the edition number, paper type and print size.
Each print is digitally signed in the bottom left-hand corner and numbered on the right-hand corner.
All prints are guaranteed to remain true to life for more than 80 years if handled and displayed appropriately.
The edition size indicates the total prints produced across all physical sizes. Each image in the Second Life series has an edition size of 20 + 2 Artist Proofs, which means that the photograph will be produced a total of 22 times.

Your questions answered
What is a limited edition?
A limited edition is a highly collectible print, it’s only printed in a limited number at a specific size. When an edition sells out, it will not be reprinted again at that size.
What is an Artist Proof?
An artist’s proof is a term used to describe a limited number of prints that are made outside of the regular numbered edition size of a print.
They were typically printed before the numbered edition and were used as a way for the artist to make final adjustments to the image. But in modern days, Artist Proofs may be prints used strictly for display at exhibitions, in galleries and similar use cases.
Are the prints archival quality?
Yes they are! Our Limited Edition prints are made to last a very long time, and are only printed on archival fine art papers using processes that maintain the details of the work.
You will not be disappointed; the print quality is breathtaking and holds the highest details that are contained in the image.
In fact, the combination of papers and ink is rated to last at least 80+ years in good viewing conditions.
Should I get the framed or unframed print?
If you'd like to hang up your print as soon as possible, then get a framed one. Our framers do a great job of making sure the prints fit perfectly with the handcrafted frames.
On the other hand, if you'd like a more elaborate frame or one that better suits your existing décor, go with the unframed print. However, please consider working with a professional framer to preserve the archival quality of your limited edition print.
How can I pay for a selected artwork?
You must first add the print to your cart and you can complete your order by clicking the Check Out button. Existing PayPal and Google Pay customers will have the option to use those services to pay.
Alternatively, you will need to input your information and choose a payment method:

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes! These prints can be shipped to any location in the world, primarily because we use DHL Express Courier.
How long will my print take to arrive?
Your print(s) will normally ship within 1-2 weeks after the sale window has closed.
For the February 15 release, all orders will be processed after the sale window closes, which is March 1, meaning your prints will ship 2-3 weeks after March 1.
After production, your print will be shipped and you can expect delivery based on your location:
- UK, Germany and Europe ─ 3 to 7 business days (free)

Will I be charged customs/import duties for my print?
The prices indicated for the "Second Life" artworks are exclusive of VAT, customs/import duties or local taxes that may be payable.
For orders headed to the US, UK or the EU, there will be no extra customs charges.
To the other countries of the world, it depends on the value of the shipment. Over a certain value then they will incur import/customs duties of that country.
You can view those minimum values by clicking this link.
Where such duties or taxes are payable in respect of any works ordered, we do not collect and pay them on your behalf. You are responsible for paying any amounts due directly to the applicable customs authority.
What is your policy on damages or returns?
Your print is made to order, so we cannot accept returns. However if your print is damaged in transit, or in the very unlikely event that it arrives with a defect, we will replace it. We will ask for some images or video of the damage so we can supply this to DHL to cover the insurance.
